Birthday!! May 17
Started induction 12:30 midnight (going into Tuesday 17th) with a pill at my cervix. 4:41a had another dose of the same pill. 10:30ish was around 5cm and got epidural. Pain was tolerable I was very restless in and out of sleep while they checked my cervix afterwards. Got pain medicine through epid around 7.5cm and contractions got worse after 8cm to 10.. (Still didn't cry though) made it to 9cm around 4:00p. Nurse said she'd come back at 4:30p cause she felt his head and figured I'd be at 10 by then.. Well I felt the urge to push at 4:57p and we had to call the nurse cause I couldn't wait anymore. 5:00p started pushing, he was out at 5:26p. Breast feeding is great, he's latching good and loves to just be near to fall asleep by my boobies. He's a good baby so far & I'm happy to be his mommy!! 😘😊 8lbs 2oz 20.5 inches long 😎 I was 39w1d originally due May 23.
