Umbilical Cord Prolapse
I was told yesterday this could happen once your water breaks if you don't get to the hospital soon and get laid down in a bed? I want to know if this is true because my plan for labor is no pain meds, lots of walking, and the birth ball for pain management. However, I obviously don't want to increase my risk for a cord prolapse!
