My bf does weed. He's never done it around me and he's promised to continue working and not to do it around the baby. This is his second and he's never done it around his daughter. I feel like I'm ok with it, mostly cuz he's not bringing it around me and he mostly does it for his back problems

My partner is buying weed after he told me he wouldn't touch it or buy it I have a four year old daughter and a baby on the way which they are his kids I'm so heartbroken and so hurt that he's lied to me knowing he would lose us my daughter dotes on her father she's a really daddy's girl I just don't know what to do I'm so emotional right now

Mines doing the same with worse stuff, he left for "work" never went and had me panicked and hysterical all day yesterday calling area hospitals, police stations, ect. Just to find out he was hiding at a friends or hotel, I'm not sure. We haven't spoken today, I'm 11.2 weeks pregnant with our first. My baby and myself deserve much better. I'm going to get my answers that I need out of him tomorrow and then I'm leaving there will never be an excuse good enough. Sorry to rant on your post lol just sounded slightly similar to how I'm feeling! Good luck to you ❤️

So, if he's been smoking weed and you have a 4 year old, what changed that you asked him to stop now? Why do you think the kids will be taken away? Is CPS involved or is this just a fear? Is he working and providing, or is detrimental to the finances that he doesn't buy weed at all? I just feel like if this isn't a brand new habit, and he's providing and staying faithful and the lights aren't about to be cut off....then why are you trying to get upset about something you chose to accept a long time ago? I find pregnant women get upset about it mostly because they can't/don't smoke anymore and I get that too. I just feel like I need more info, I don't mean to come across rude if I am. He shouldn't have lied though

technically speaking you can do whatever you want. to say that women who produced healthy babies after smoking weed means nothing is like saying any man made medicine doesn't matter when it cures an illness. there are studies that support both view points and I wasn't telling anyone to go light up a blunt. it's a personal decision and there are repercussions for most decisions we make. it's an individual's decision to assess any risk and deal.

Seriously? Absolutely not. It is not safe for a developing fetus just like cigarettes, alcohol, etc. I am not someone who thinks marijuana is some horrible drug, but not during pregnancy! Just because there have been women who have smoked weed and their kid is fine means nothing.

you can but some women chose not to. to be honest I have friends and family members who have and their babies are super smart and healthy.
