Lost tampon?

Okay so it know that you can't actually loose a tampon in your vaginal canal but I honestly don't know what to do... It has happened before but I found it, I think it was folded or something? Idk it's confusing. But does anyone have any ideas to help? Like ways to help it or if I need to go to a gynecologist? Pls help
