Labor/hospital bag contents!

Karen
For all my fellow moms out there who have already been through L&D...what were the most important, most unexpected, or most unnecessary things that you packed for the hospital for both you and baby?
I started packing last night after learning yesterday (36w+4d) that I'm 50% effaced and 1cm dilated!  We live very close to the hospital where we've chosen to deliver, but hubby says he doesn't want to leave my side to go home  😉❤️

If he isn't going to leave your side, don't make my mistake. Pack him some fresh clothes, deodorant, and a toothbrush!

I haven't packed my bag yet but I have to say that watching YouTube videos of 'what's in my labor/hospital bag' are very helpful! With each video I take away something new 😁 And I already have an idea of what I for sure need to pack.

I delivered in a birth center, so I'm not sure how much different the accommodation is. I was there for the delivery and home the same night. That said, I packed a thermos of chicken quinoa soup to eat after labor. Best Meal Ever. So nice to have something comforting from home, and what's more comforting than your own food?
