Child present during delivery

I've been thinking about having my daughter present at my delivery of my son. She's been very involved in my pregnancy since day 1 & she already has so much love for her brother although he isn't here yet. Have any of you mother's had your other children present while giving birth in a hospital? (Not homebirths) I know there's a lot going on in the hospital. My fiance thinks she will just get in the way but I think she would be fine because she's a very calm 3 yr old. I'm only looking for responses from mother's who have already done so and how it went for them or doctors/nurses who have witnessed it happen. TIA 😊
