Probably because transwomen face verbal, physical and sexual abuse when forced to use male bathrooms?

Whereas the fears that ciswomen have are literally just based on bigoted rhetorics that were made to vilify laws that seeked to allow transgender people to choose the bathrooms they wanted to use.

Because one set of fears has a basis in reality, the other is fiction.

If one person was scared of being mugged and the other of a zombie you'd only take one of them seriously

I can see the logic behind this. I know a lot of 'open minded people' and they all hate propel who disagree with them. It's somewhat truthful from what I've seen:heard: and read.

Because trans woman are WAY more likely to face violence in a bathroom than a cis woman. Because transphobia is something that exists in every corner of society. Because how often do you actually hear of men going into a public woman's bathroom and attacking someone? How often do transphobic people use public bathrooms that they share with trans people - everyday. Every single day, so every day trans people are forced to be cautious, to be mindful of their own safety knowing that chances are, there's very few people who would help them in a dangerous situation and defend them as a victim, as opposed to if they were cis. Seriously, cis women, trans woman being allowed to use the bathroom safest for them does not automatically make you a victim.

Women's fears of violence  in bathrooms are not mocked, mean, bigoted etc.  I've never heard that before  from anyone.

But to answer your question , transgender  folks are at extreme danger and highest risk for being assulted, beaten to a pulp , and murdered (just because  they are transgender. Women are not assulted just because  they just so happen to be women. Transgender people have targets on their back just because  of this. It's terrible).
