You might have a bacterial infection. I actually had both yeast and bacterial. The cream wasn't working for me so I told my doctor to give me the pill 2 help it. So with the antibiotics for the bacterial and the one day pill for the yeast infection... It all worked out and I haven't had one since.
Yeast Infection
I don't know why this is starting to happen but right before my period comes (like a week before), I start getting a yeast infection. It's been 3 times this year. They get really bad too where I feel like crying from the pain and the itch is unbearable. The doctor only prescribes some cream I have to put up inside for 7 days and doesn't explain what's happening. I am very concerned. Does this happen to anybody else?

yupp I was the same way. the pill helped a whole lot better.

Does it matter that the cream works for me? it starts helping but my period comes right in the last days of using the cream. once my period comes and goes I am fine no itch or anything until a week before my period is coming back.

I also should mention that I had multiple yeast infections...one almost 3 or 4 weeks. that's how I knew that it was something more than a yeast infection.
