Are you planning on breastfeeding?
My family is divided and I get different advice everywhere. On one hand, my grandmother is all for it. Gives lots of advice and says I'll enjoy it once I get the hang of it. She says to feed my baby anywhere I want and that the baby will be healthier and less likely to get colic. On the other hand, my aunt is pretty against it. She says that if you ever want anyone to babysit, you're out of luck if you breast feed. She says there's rarely enough to pump, especially in the first few weeks. And said whenever she sees someone breastfeeding, she's like "uh, really..?" She doesn't want to see it and doesn't see the point of it.
So that's two opposite views. Personally, I feel that breastfeeding in public is fine but not sure I'd have the nerve. Maybe really covered up, I dunno. How do you guys feel about breastfeeding in public or around family? I think I'd like to try it, but am not the confrontational kind at all.
