Birth control lo loestrin

Has anyone ever taken lo loestrin fe and stopped having periods but still had cramps. I've been on it for about 6 months and these pasts two months I haven't had a period but all the symptoms that go with periods. The cramping ,boobs hurt, bloating. And throughout the month I randomly get heavy sloughing (brown tissuey discharge). I don't think I'm pregnant but I was just curious to see if anyone else experienced this. Also I read on the website that at least half of people taking this birth control stop having periods all together.
