Breast feeding bottles vs regular bottles?

What is the difference?

I am hoping to breast feed for a month or maybe more if it goes well since I will be off from work. Do I really need special breast feeding bottles if I plan to pump?

Agreed,  all about the nipples...and baby. Not all babies have the nipple confusion issue, one of mine did and one didn't.  If you have access to a lactation consultant thru your hospital or pediatrician's office they would probably have good recommendations. I'm going to be doing the same thing soon, good luck!

No as long as you establish breastfeeding and also introduce bottles early it shouldn't be a problem what bottle you use

I've never even heard of a breastfeeding bottle.  I breastfed and bottle fed both of my girls.  I used dr. Browns. My 2nd would only drink out of the wide mouth ones.

It's all about the nipple design.

We used the Kiinde system which is for breastfeeding/pumping moms. I also used them for formula when I had to supplement 1 bottle a day at daycare. I just had them use a funnel and it was fine.
