ANYONE ON METHADONE HERE? Prego or not?

I know a lot might disagree with this but plz don't judge..... I am on it for pain control because of bad scoliosis cuz im allergic to all pain meds besides. I'm not pregnant yet but ttc baby #1 and my doctor and ob knows. I have been told it is perfectly safe and have known a few different woman who have had outstanding healthy pregnancies, birth's and babies!

It is okay to take but you will have to come off of it at about 32 weeks otherwise the baby will be born addicted so what they would do is if you were to conceive they would start weaning you off of it before 30 weeks

I'm not or haven't personally been on it , but I have an old friend who fell pregnant on it and ended up having her twins at 34 weeks and they were highly addicted to it. They spent months and months in hospital to be monitored and to be detoxed . They are 2 now and healthy but it was a very long journey for them . Best of luck
