What due date should I use?

My LMP due date is October 21. I calculated at October 19 based on having shorter cycle dates. Then I had the opportunity to have a first trimester ultrasound at which they told me Oct 12! (According to the tech, the due dates at first trimester u/s are the most accurate.)

So, which should I pick?! It's not like the baby will cooperate anyway so it's just for fun. 😝

I'm going with my LMP, gives me more time to go into labor. First babies are usually a week late :)

The dating ultrasound  is the one they will use.

My doc picked my personal calculations to go off of, because I was testing ov the whole time. The u/s read close to it the first time, and then 3 days earlier the second time. He just suspects I'll have a tall baby. Usually they go off of u/s dates, though. Either way, you could just say mid-october and still be right.

The rule is that if your LMP date is within a week of ultrasound date you go with LMP date. If they're more than a week apart you go with ultrasound, but you're right baby will come on their own time.
