Sweet moment in my pregnancy

I'm 17 and 12.5 weeks pregnant. Ever sense I got pregnant my dad hasn't really been involved. He isn't angry,but he's in shock since I'm the youngest of my siblings and this was very unexpected of me. Tonight at dinner my mom and I were discussing how my due date was December 1st and how the baby would be here for Christmas. My dad never even knew my due date and his eyes lite up at the fact his grandchild is due near his favorite holiday. Christmas! He told me he's hoping it's a boy so it'll go fishing with him. I feel like big steps were made tonight (:
