me and my boyfriend are at that stage where it's about time to have sex but not sure cause he already has had sex because he's a year older then me but I haven't had sex yet so I would be loosing my virginity to him

I lost my virginity at fourteen. I don't regret it, but I do wish it had been a more special experience with someone I cared about. Whatever you decide to do, because it is ultimately your choice as to when you want to lose your virginity, MAKE SURE YOU USE A CONDOM!!! People your age are LIARS and will tell you they're clean, and have been tested, when they haven't and they have no idea if they've got an STD or not. Just practice safe sex. If you don't like regular condoms, or he tries to pull the "I'm allergic to latex", go to the store and get yourself some Polyurethane condoms. They aren't as noticeable and won't cause an allergic reaction.

As someone who had sex at 14, wait. Sex is a wonderful experience and healthy for people to have, but there isn't any rush to have it so early. My advice is wait until you are at the age where it is legal where you live then experiment with it. If he isn't willing to wait until then, he's not right for you. It can feel a little like torture not knowing what sex is like, especially when your boyfriend does know, but life after sex is different. There are many more fears and doubts that come along with it. Take your time and enjoy life as long as possible without those fears.

Wait until you're older, and you're with someone you know for sure cares.. I lost mine at 16 to a dude that pretended to care, and I feel like that was the worst mistake of my life.. When I was 14 I had many opportunities to lose my virginty. But I chose to wait until I was a little older about 17/18, for me it wasn't about the "right person" or "the right time" but about having the right state of mind. I did love the person I was with, but I had to be mature enough to know that it wasn't going to last. Having sex changes your mind and you become more mature, this has be something you want and are ready for, don't do this just because your boyfriend is a year older than you and you think this is what he wants. You are 14, chances are this is just a high school relationship. Who you sleep with stays in your mind for a long time, the memory of your first time is always something you'll remember, don't let this be a bad experience
