Vibrator Envy

So I asked my boyfriend for a Vibrator because I've always wanted one and I thought it would be good for when he can't be with me or for us both to play with to kink up are sex. However he says he doesn't want me to have one because he thinks it means I'll replace him wiith it and it means he's not good enough. I explained that isn't the case and I want it to adddd to add to are sex life not replace it but he doesn't understand my point. Do I just not get one then
