Need advice and help?

I went to ob today and I did a blood test and it was negative. But I did last two days get faint positives. I been having symptoms 10days late and since it came back neg ob wants me to take meds to restart my period... but I was for sure they I was pregnant due to symptoms. ..

What are y'all experience? Anything would be helpful. .. should i take the pills? If I am pregnant would it affect me if I am? I'm just so confused and frustrated.

It all depends on what kind of a blood test they did was a qualitative or quantitative it is possible for someone to get a negative qualitative test but still be pregnant

I think I figured it out. I tried using my avg cycle days from the two apps I use and it shows me that I could be between 3-4 weeks. I did have intercourse on some of the days that were in the possible cycle so I'm hoping I figured it out and it's true. So now I gotta wait and see. I know I got faint positives on some of my test resently. But gonna wait and see if I get more. Hopefully I'll have good news.

I think I'm gonna wait it out a little long and see if period comes naturally before I take more meds.

Im just worried that if I am pregnant that if I take the meds I might screw it all up but idk.

I don't have any experience with your situation stated but generally if bloodwork is negative that's an accurate test. I'd trust what your ob suggests and go from there. Best of luck!

My sister went to a doc n did blood test it was negative 2 weeks after I sent her to my gynecologist and she did an ultrasound turn out she's six week pregnant and she did lots of home Pt all the as negative u should seek a different if u think u maybe prego

I don't think they would have given you the pills if there was even the slightest amount of hcg present in your blood, they would have wanted you to come back for another test.
