Do Prometrium (progesterone) capsules have to be refrigerated?

These are not compounded suppositories but rather the capsules. The bottle and information attached does not say to refrigerate, but I was wondering if they should be. I know that my other progesterone suppositories had to be but they were compounded.

The pharmacy would be able to confirm if they need to be refrigerated or not. I highly doubt it if they weren't compounded and the pharmacy would have made sure to tell you prior to you leaving with your prescription. (I work in pharmacy) there should be information in the paper they gave you that has your name and drug name. You'll have to skim through all the pharmacy mumbo jumbo and find the storage information. It should be in there.

I was wondering the same thing. I get mine through a mail order pharmacy. All of the sudden, after a year of getting them delivered in a bubble mailer, I now get this huge box that contains a styrofoam cooler . Inside the cooler are 3 ice packs surrounding the bottle of progesterone! It's hysterical!
