On blood thinners due to pulmonary embolism

So I just had my son 4 months ago and I was having a few issues with my body. April 26th, I got the Skype iud. Then literally two weeks later, I was hospitalized due to finding blood clots in my lungs. But anywho, now I'm home and on oxygen and blood thinners. I just ended my period after 15 FREAKING DAYS!!! Yes, 15 days of bleeding. Is there any ladies that have gone through this?
