Egg retrieval for ivf.

I also had a wonderful IVF experience. First time worked for me. Currently 8 months prego with embryos frozen for later. Retrieval wasn't bad at all. Good luck! 

I had a wonderful experience and I did two rounds of ivf! Don't be nervous at all! Your clinic will take great care of u I'm sure!.. I actually love being on Anesthesia.. best sleep!!!

I was so nervous about egg retrieval but it is was super easy. My darling SO drive me to & from, and the nurse were great. It was a quick procedure. I took the day off work & rested. A heat pad or hot water bottle on your lower abdomen helps afterwards. I only had slight brief cramping, and not even all of my 3 retrievals. However - I only had 3-4 eggs. I think maybe if you have heaps of eggs (some ladies get 30!) it can be a bit more painful.

Trust me I was terrified of the anesthesia but you don't even remember going to sleep and it seems like a minute later you're awake. Don't be stressed in the least, I promise you! 

I just did my egg retreival yesterday! We got 14 eggs and got a call this morning that 9 fertilized! So excited. It actually was SUPER easy!!!!!!! Not painful but the recovery is a little irritating but nothing too bad!! Good luck ☺️
