What do you recommend?

FTM im still debating on what to buy for my baby. From your experince and being a mom whats the best recommendation or something that will be worth my money.

We got a rock n play for the first 6mths n a cot for afterwards. Was lucky enough to have them both bought off our registry by competing family members! Lol

You definitely need a crib. They use that for the longest. A pack n play is nice because most of them come with a bassinet than you can use while they're little. Sort of the best of both worlds. But they're smaller than a crib, so they will grow out of it sooner if you're planning on using it for their main sleeping spot. Check your area for baby thrift shops or even yard sales. You can often get some great items for not a lot of cash

I'm not sure what a pack n play is but I bought a bassinet for when he was a newborn that I had next to my bed m and also got a big crib in his own room for when he's big enough to sleep through the night

I have a crib and a Pack n Play. Pack n Play will be in my room the first few months then we will transition to the crib.

Getting a pack n play for when she's still small and then switching to crib. I like it because it can still be used to play in or for trips or something.

I have all three. We used the bassinet dor almost 5 months and now her crib. We keep the pack n play in the living room for changing and use it for vacations. I think pack n plays are a must for people who travel. They are pretty cheap like $50 for a basic one(trust me you don't need one with all the extras).

Buy a convertible crib and have it in your room if you can .. You don't "need" a bassinet.. And if you look into the pack n plays that have the infant part they pretty much cost the same as a crib :)

Bassinet at first is a must, then a crib, pack n play is great but not a necessity, this is what baby showers are great for, and if you're tight on money go online like Craigslist or Mommy baby Facebook sell groups or offer up and find things slightly used for a good price

I have all 3. she's gonna be in her bassinet for the first 3 months or so and then I'm gonna slowly transition her into her room in her crib . and the playpen is only for her to play in not for sleeping or anything else. good luck!
