What can I do?

So I have a sister in law that never buckles her baby in the car seat when she is driving "close" to her house! She always haves him in front holding him in the drivers seat or passengers seat! And my husband always tells her to put him in his car seat and she just says that they are close home and it's not important!!! Like really, I hope she doesn't crash or anything like that cause the air bag will kill the baby. Is there any ways to inform an officer or anything like that? She has done this so many times it bothers me as a mother for that baby's safety.

She can actually have her child taken away for that. I would call the police station and report it. You can get rear ended pulling out of your driveway! Not acceptable at all. If you know she's driving somewhere then call the police and report it with her car style.

What u guys need to do is teach her a lesson you guys need to tell the police officer what she's doing and let them pull her over and give her a ticket then next time she will learn I don't care if it's around the corner she will put baby in car seat and buckle him up

I would personally tell her that if she's driving somewhere "close" to her house, then she could put the baby in a stroller or carry him/her to their destination. If SHE needs a car to get there then the BABY needs to be in a car seat buckled down.

People have accidents even before they drive off the parking lot of stores let alone driving 3 blocks down a street.

She's make pretty bad decisions for both her and her baby

Statistics show that most car accidents happen within a 10 mile radius of their own home- specifically BECAUSE people have this mentality.  This kind of thinking scares me!
Call CPS. She could get a ticket from a cop,  but that is child endangerment- she needs more of a scare than a ticket.

The majority of car crashes happen close to home, and goodness knows people don't follow speed limits, stop signs or yield signs, especially in neighborhoods. The amount of time your sister saves by not placing her baby in the carseat and buckling up is not worth the tragedy that could occur if the vehicle was hit, even at 30mph. I hope she will be open to changing her ways

Does she not realize you could still get into an accident just seconds from your house? She really needs to open her eyes! CPS could take her kid away if they knew she did that..
