PCOS and round one clomid

Hey all!!
So my hubby and I have one daughter that is two and a half. She was a surprise, seeing as I was on birth control when we found out We were expecting.
Now we're trying to grow our family some more, and have been for over a year.
I've had PCOS since at least 7th grade, and that's why my doctor believes I got pregnant on bc.
I had an ultrasound yesterday and I'm not ovulating at all.
So I was put on 50 mg clomid.
Obviously clomid doesn't make you pregnant, it only (hopefully) makes you ovulate.
But is there any thing I can do to help myself make the most of it?
I have preseed and OPKs.
But any food, supplements, nutrition, position, wives tails, anything?!

OPKs actually aren't very accurate for some of us with pcos because we sometimes overproduce LH. Sounds like you're off on a good start. Do you know if your dr will prescribe a trigger shot or bring you in for a cd 12 ultrasound?

Awesome! The ultrasound will tell you how you responded to the medication. They check endometrial lining and follicle sizes. I'm in my two week wait from my second round of Femara. I can see why he'd want you to use OPKs for this first round! It makes sense to see how you respond to clomid

And I took OPKs for months with nothing so I quit taking them but he said to start again to see if it would work for me with the climid

I have another ultrasound the week after this one. I think it's day 11? And he said if I don't ovulate then we'll do clomid and a trigger shot next round, but not this one.
