Tanning outside?

What are your thoughts about tanning outside?? I'm going to cali in two weeks and want to get a bit of color before then. Harmful to the baby? Or is it safe?

I think it's the better option rather than a tanning bed. You should be okay as long as you don't overheat. Stay hydrated!! Plus he vitamin d is good for you 😁

I live in a very hot place, our summer is about 70% of the year and I go to the beach all the time and go boating. My doctor doesn't see anything wrong with it and I always feel better after sitting in the sun

I just put on a 50spf and wear that all day when we're out in the sun and I still get color without getting pink/burnt and I feel safe about it. You get burnt a lot easier while pregnant so up your spf.

Try and avoid being in the sun at the hottest part of the day (midday) so you dont over heat but thats the only issue.

Stay hydrated, a lot more water than normal and take breaks from the sun

Wear sunblock and don't overheat :) stay hydrated and maybe only stay outside an hour or two.
