38 week check up

Had my 38 week check up and left really irritated with my Dr today. He didn't even check to see if I'm dilated or thinned out or anything. Seemed like he was in a hurry to get me out. I asked him if he'll check and all he said was "we usually don't check unless you have contractions." Umm if I'm having contractions, I'll be at the hospital, not here! Totally bummed me out! 6 years ago when I had my 1st born they checked every week since I was 36 weeks. Guess times change. 😡😡😡
