4 week old baby outings ?

Have any of you mommies taken your baby out to the mall yet ? Memorial Day sales got me so tempted to go out and shop ! Not to mention that I need new clothes since all I had was maternity clothes and my old clothes no longer fit ! As long as I keep her covered she should be fine no ? Or should I just suck it up and shop online ? Lol I'm a ftm here and I am dying of boredom at home 😭

I was out shopping and doing errands within a few days. Babies are fine to go out. Just plan feedings and sleep times around your shopping. I take mine out around his usual nap time and right after I fed him to insure that things will go smoothly as possible. Take your time and if you have to leave due to a fussy baby it won't be the end of the world. Toddlers are much harder to shop with so enjoy now while you can.

I took my daughter out with me to the mall bytes. Just keep her covered. I had to feed her while I was out so I just put a cover on and breastfed her while walking. Do what ever you feel comfortable with but don't just sit at home go out and do stuff.

We've been out shopping since he was five days old. Life does not stop when you've got older kids and a husband who works all the time! at least for me anyway lol

We were out and about the day after we came home from the hospital! As long as people aren't handling the baby it's fine.

Yes it's fine just keep baby covered up of course do not let any strangers touch the baby but as long as you keep the baby covered you should be fine. This is my second baby he is 4 weeks as well but I will limit my outings with the baby until he's 3 months or I try to have my hubby watch him while I step out for a little "me time"

I took mine out within a few days. He started wailing in Wal-Mart so I pulled out a boob. I was nervous but after that I was like whatever he's hungry haha. We are now prepared after a few weeks. I feed him right before we go into the store. I started wearing him on me with the boba sling thing (he slept the whole time while I shopped normal paced not hurrying) thank god! No one has touched him or gotten too close yet!

We are out almost every day. I kinda don't have a choice most days because I have to take my older child to school 3 days a week. Just don't let people touch her or get super close...
