Postpartum fever?

I had a c section 10 days ago. At day 6 I woke up with a stomach bug, fever and chills. It was gone by that night, but then the next day I started coughing. Today I a have a runny nose, and the fever is back. Anyone deal with something so bizarre? I don't know whether to go to the ER for an infection or urgent care to get tested for the flu! And of course it's memorial day weekend, so those are literally my only 2 choices. I feel great otherwise, no pain at all, just irritated lol

It's the flu, and I have to stay away from baby all the time except when nursing him. So so awful :(

I had a fever 7 days pp, chills and achy all over. Was admitted to the hospital for an rapid heart rate, elevated white count but they couldn't find the infection. Turned out to be in the lining of my uterus which is the leading cause of pp death. Get checked out even if you think it's nothing.

Fever isn't really a "fever" or a concern unless it's over 101.4. If your temp reaches that or over them yes. Call your OB and they will advise you to either come see them or go to the ER. otherwise I'd your fever is below that temp then just try to stay hydrated and get as much rest as possible.

Do you have redness, oozing or bleeding from your incision? If not it just sounds like you're sick.
