Postpartum Periods- 3 in a month!!! 😩😩
I never post on here but I feel I need to for this.
My daughter is 9 months old and my period started back up when she was 8 months after milk supply dried up. The first month, my period was more like spotting, no cramps and only lasted 2-3 days. The second month, I had spotting again- right on schedule at 28 days later-that lasted for a about 3 days. I had 10 days of nothing and then the hot flashes, dizziness, wicked cramps and real bleeding came in. This period lasted 9 days with heavy bleeding the first 3 days and then medium flow-light spotting. I had a 3 day break before this last period started but this time, no cramps just body weakness and a super heavy flow! TMI, have to change the tampon damn near every 1-2 hours or else it's a mess of massacre proportions!!! I'm on day 3 of this cycle and the bleeding shows no signs of letting up...basically is coming out like pee, but isn't pee.
I haven't bled like this in almost a decade!!! Anyone experience this postpartum??!!?!Calling my gyno on Tuesday but wanted to ask you all.
***Personal history: I have Stage 4 endometriosis, my right ovary and Fallopian tube were removed about 5 years ago after a laparoscopic procedure to remove endo and a softball sized cyst on my right ovary. My daughter was conceived through IVF with no complications. We still have two embryos frozen and in the process of doing IVF again this year.
