Nose bleed while sleeping?

Is it normal to have a nose bleed while sleeping? I haven't had one since I was a little girl and I randomly woke up to one last night. I'm kind of a light sleeper and the feeling of it running down my nose woke me up. I know nose bleeds are normal but are they in your sleep too?

Ya ur nose got dry in ur sleep causing a nose bleed. Ur lucky that your a light sleeper bc I usually wake up to bloody taste n bloody pillow bc I sleep thru it 😢

It happens to me from time to time because of allergies. :/

Yes it's normal, especially if your body feels overheated or the room is dry. It use to happen to my son a lot when he was little, his doctor suggested putting a humidifier in his room to keep it moist.
