Today SUCKS!!

I woke up yesterday with a scratchy throat, it felt like allergies so I ignored it.

Last night I tossed and turned, got up and looked at my painful throat a bit ago. Its swollen (tonsils removed in 2007) and very red, and one white patch. Im pregnant and its possible I contracted strep from a patient at work on Friday. I know its an adolescent illness, but a female adult came in with enlarged tonsils and exudates. And I used that exam room after she left. I wiped it down with cavi-wipes, but I feel really unsure that did any good now.

Back to this AM looking at my throat, my husband is peeing and we were talking about my throat and I brushed my arm against my nipple when rubbing my eye. Sure enough, I felt wetness coming out of my nipple. It was white in color - one drop. And my husband noticed a dried streak of what is probably milk going horizontal across my boob!! I was so embarressed and I just feel awful. At 8 mos is it too early to lactate?? Should I call the nurse to speak about that and my throat?? Im off today and tomorrow. And as far as I know cant take antibiotics anyway 😢😔

Our plans are ruined, and I feel angry at myself for getting sick. Does this mean my baby is sick too?
