How much weight did you gain in the last weeks of pregnancy?

I've read somewhere that in the 9th month, you can even lose weight. However, I also remember being told to keep up with a pound a week weight gain till the end. I was wondering what you all experienced?

I lost a few pounds because I couldn't keep up! Baby was plenty big and healthy at 8lbs. I however, lost a lot of muscle mass and felt a bit weakened afterwards. My butt became a pancake and my skinny legs became jello since he took a lot from me. I'm keeping up on protein of some sort at every meal/snack this time around, especially in last month. It was harder work building back some strength than losing the few extra lbs of baby weight! For reference, I was 130lb 5'6" before my 1st son and gained 35lbs. Now with my 2nd I was 120lbs and have gained about 28lbs so far.

I lost 36 lbs up until last week, gained half a pound, only to turn around and lose 4 more pounds at yesterday's appointment!

I haven't gained in about 2 months but my baby is growing fine and since I'm overweight my OB said its normal.

I lost two pounds after only gaining 9 pounds but my baby is measuring about average in weight. My doctor still asked that I gain those two pounds back but yeah I barely have an appetite plus my acid reflux is terrible.
