Absolutely not! 1. baby will probably mess it up anyway lol. 2. What if baby is big and it doesnt fit? 3. I wouldnt spend that much on ANY baby outfit as baby wont be able to wear it for very long. For $75 I can go to Carters and get 3-4 outfits and maybe have money left over to treat myself to a good lunch 😂

I spent close to that, I know it's a lot but I make shadow boxes for my kids. One day it will be theirs and hang in their house or nursery. I also keep a baby book with momentous. My older kids already love going through them and seeing their memories. I see it as one day my grandchildren will be looking through the greatest moments of my life and seeing Thier parents. I am sentimental

I'm weird about baby spending. I'm always trying to cut costs, on almost everything, as much as possible. Clothes are my smallest expenditure. We plan to start a college fund for our children as soon as my own loans are paid off. I'm 31 and still paying off my loans, and I don't want to shackle my child with this same burden. That loan bill impacts everything for our family, and I can't bear the thought of any of my children feeling as trapped and in debt as I do when they're my age. To me the coming home outfit isn't even comparable to financial stability when he's a young adult looking to start his life and career, his own family, so it doesn't even rank on my list of possible big ticket items. But I'd spend $75 on pictures of him, or put towards tuition at a good preschool. But a single outfit he'd wear for one car ride? No.

If I didn't want to preserve it and baby would wear it more than once maybe. But I keep my babies coming home outfit to put in a shadow box with the arm bracelet from the hospital and memorabilia from that day.

No way. My daughter didnt even come home in the outfit I picked for her. Had even buttoned it up and she had already been sick all over it. Pointless.  Both my babies came home in sleepsuits.
