Help hubby and i are trying to conceive. I'm confused

I'm 33 my hubby and I have been married for almost 10 months. We have been TTC and nothing. My cycles are normal every month. My cycle was 05/11-05/16. I have had some light spotting that has turned brown then went back to light spotting with slimey mucous to now nothing. I have a little bit of soreness in my boobs and lots of indigestion. Please can some one give me some advice on what's happening. My youngest is 8 turning 9 and my husband and I want our first child together.
