C-section planned?

Is anyone else here having a scheduled c-section due to health concerns or something else? In my case, I've had 2 already so the doctors don't want to risk a ruptured uterus. I'm high risk now as well with diabetes and hyperthyroidism. Due Aug 28th. Haven't set a date yet. It seems weird to control the day he'll be born.

I am having my 4th cesection (5th baby). I love having them scheduled. It's so nice.  I even get to make sure my makeup is on and not streaked, my hair is nice and done.  Lol.  Since I have to go through major surgery to get my babies here I figure why not enjoy what you can.  Plus it makes it easier to arrange for baby sitting? Meals etc.

I'm due Aug. 27th with a planned c-section date of Aug. 23rd. I've been thinking about recovery time and how I might try a V-back. My other c-section with my son was 13 years ago. However my husband is totally against a v-back. It was a very traumatic delivery where my son and I both almost died- he's scared.. I get it.

Im currently 27.6 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I also have to have a planned c-section at 37 weeks, due to previous c-section 10 years ago and high risk pregnancy (G.D.). I'm so nervous to go through with it because of my horrible experience & pain my first time around. Good luck!

I had the same due date! I'm also on my second csection. This one will be planned. It's scheduled for August 22nd.

I am due August 4th but c section is scheduled for July 28th. Dr gave me the option for vbac but I chose to just go with the c section again!

I'm due August 5th but was told that if I don't go early I will have a c-section, my second, on July 29th. My first was very large and got stuck so it was a necessity. This one they believe will be larger than the first, no GD, I just make large boys and they are concerned with the risk of rupture.

I've had 3 c - sections before and this will be my 4th (5 pregnancies). Due date is August 30th but planned cesarean for August 18th. I'm high risk due to 1 miscarriage, 1 stillborn @ 39 weeks and I'm 35. Good luck! :)

Due Aug 13th. C section scheduled Aug 5th. I'm worried they have my due date off cause I'm can't imagine going that much longer. Not much room left.
