Brown, grainy period

I just had a baby 4 months ago and I've had two periods so far. The first one was light but it was scarlet red and lasted for 5 days. This time my period was light but it has been brown the whole time (5 days) and when I use the bathroom it looks like coffee grounds in the toilet. Does anyone know what that means?
