Can you ovulate during your period?

Question

Tracking my cycles for the past 7 years. I've noticed my easy going periods I get a thick egg white mucus for 3 out of 7 days. During the 3 days with the mucus I find my self to be exstreamly sexually arroused by my husband and all I want to do is jump my DH bones!
Then their are the periods with no 3 days of  egg white mucus and I find these to be the  periods from hell where I just want to stangle my DH over the stupidest thing & I just want to be left alone!

Answer

It's possible to ovulate right before/after your period, so thst could be happening. But if you have a consistent cycle (which it sounds like you do) you would ovulate at the same time each month. With an irregular cycle, ovulation can jump around though.

The CM could also be because of something else. (Diet, intercourse, etc). I know that my cm changes/gets a little bit white and thicker when I'm not hydrated enough.

During a period. Your ovaries are hard at work, making that one egg for ovulation. In my method we consider periods to be highly fertile, as the blood can mask fertile  cervical fluid aka discharge. Always use protection.
