Spinal??

Question

Hi ladies! I'm having a scheduled C Section at the end of August and super nervous about the spinal. This will be my 3rd C and 2nd induction.  I think I had a spinal last time but cannot remember it and am more nervous this time around. What has been your experience if you have been through this?

3rd c-section for me too and I'm just nervous  about having he c-section all together . I guess it more scary because it's the third one .

I was actually super nervous about getting it once I went into labor...more so than the actual labor part lol. Honestly though when I got it, it wasn't near as bad as I expected and it felt a lot different than I thought it would. I actually just thought if felt kind of weird. Rather than a pain it was more just like an odd feeling. Since you don't usually have anything going in between your spine you don't really expect the strange feeling I guess lol. I don't think you have anything to worry about. It only takes a minute anyway. One of the hardest parts was sitting up and leaning over with a giant belly lol

I haven't had our little one yet, but my husband is a nurse anesthetist and does them all the time. He says it does have more than a pinch, but women are SO happy once it's in that it's nothing to fret about. He's had many women wanting to name babies after him in "thanks" for the relief. I think it's weird, but I've never been that desperate for relief (yet)!
