Ergobaby?

Question

Has anyone purchased an ergobaby carrier?

Is it worth the money and what style is the best one to get? Also is the infant insert a must, it says that even without it can be used with new borns .

Love the Ergo (original)! Very easy to use and comfortable for both mom and baby. The infant insert is a must if you'll be using under 12 lbs. Otherwise, baby will slip down too low in the carrier and I imagine would be quite uncomfortable and/or difficult to breathe.

I have one and love it. I didn't get it until my daughter was six months old so I still need to get the infant insert for the one on the way. My daughter is 18mths old and I was still using it until last week when I was put on lifting restrictions.  I have the original and even being huge at 25 wks I was able to carry her on my hip. No problem. I had a bjorn and a sling before and that ergo was more comfortable for me. You may be able to find one in good condition on a Facebook mom to mom site or a kids resale.

I actually purchased a Lenny Lamb.  I know thy are expensive but I loved it and I'm a soon to be mom of 5!

I LOVE my Ergo. I used it with my daughter so, so many times. Can't wait to use it with my son. The infant insert is a must for the first four months but totally worth it. And in my opinion, the original is best. It's cheaper and it's supposed to be better for your baby if you don't wear them forward facing.
