Baby in pool?

My boyfriend and I live in a private community with access to the recreational pool. They have a baby pool. Im not due until the last week of June so I don't know if I'll have to wait until next summer to have the baby in the pool, but for mothers who have had a baby already, when did you have your baby in floaties (months)?

I would probably put the baby's feet in while I was holding it. My guess is he/she won't have enough head control for a floaty this year.

I went on holiday to Dubai when my daughter was 4 months old and I took her in the pool then. Only for about 10-15 mins at a time so she didn't get too cold. She loved it!

I was wondering this also I too give birth end of June so its a no go for pool this summer baby will be too small & wont have any control of its little head or anything but luckily Since I live in florida I can put baby in pool in like around October/November when baby will be old enough since it is still very hot here during those months So I wont have to wait till next summer

I would say earliest I would even attempt it would be 4-6 months so it would be too late for this year.
