Doggy help?

Question

My dog will not leave me alone or stop crying. All day and night she whines and cries. The only time she stops is if I am holding her or if she is laying on or near my belly. Any advice on how to calm her down?

Is shee eating, drinking, and using the bathroom normally? Have you moved recently? Sometimes dogs aren't ok with moves/changes. What about getting her a new stuffed  toy or something.  Something she can cuddle

Maybe some chews or filled toys like a Kong to keep her busy. Maybe if she has something else to focus on she wouldn't be begging for you attention all the time.

If your pregnant ( I don't want to assume you are, lol ) she may just have maternal instincts and want to be with you as a form of protection. My girl who's 3 an Australian Shepard will NOT leave my side and hasn't since day 1. I'm 7 months. And shes only calm when she's laying with me and will go out of her way and push people out of her way to lay with me.

Maybe give her some medical catnip? It would calm her down. If you're pregnant she may be sensing the changes and know she's about to lose her position as baby of the family.

I had a dog like that. It was crazy like he had anxiety (I think he wanted some dog booty)... I hope you can find something that helps. I know after a while of the whining you're like, "Alright, sir, how can I help you"

You should take her to the vet, it sounds like she is in pain.
