How to count weeks?

I have a couple of apps and some say I'm two weeks, some say four? Just wondering how the gps / midwives will calculate the date for dating scan. Thanks for your help!

At first it will be based only on the date of your last period. As baby grows they will confirm/adjust with baby's measurements.

Doctors measure by your last period. My last period was April 29th and I am considered 4 weeks and 6 days.
