Babymoon places?! Preferably northeast

Hi friends! My husband and I are celebrating our one year anniversary July 31st and expecting our first baby September 4th. We are looking for somewhere in the northeast to take a long weekend trip to rest & relax.

We have been to Boston several times, mystic Connecticut, lake George NY and a few other places. Open to try somewhere new and would love suggestions!

PS. We are from NY and don't really want to travel more than 4 hours!

I live in RI and love it so much, so many beaches (they don't call is the ocean state for nothing lol) and you can take a ferry to block island, it's great. Plus you can get from one place to another in a very short amount of time, like Providence which has amazing restaurants and theatres

Philadelphia, Atlantic city, the Poconos, new hope PA (I hear is a cute town 45 mins outside of Philadelphia). Newport RI or cape cod? I know NY is a huge state so I'm not sure how far those are for you.

I love long beach island! It's part of the jersey shore but nothing like the tv show. In fact, most establishments there are dry. If you go, I highly recommend Jolly Roger or Lorrys Island End Motel. They're both at the very end of the island and quiet. I go to Jollys every year and am going for 4th of July baby moon.

For distance-I live in rockland county...about 30 minutes from NYC I guess...and it takes us less than 3 hours to drive there.

My husband and I spend every anniversary in the North fork of Long Island.  It's gorgeous - beach, hiking, wine tasting (for him), seafood dinner, and just awesome local relaxing atmosphere.

I'm from NH and I would alwaysrecommend visiting the white mountains! There are so many amazing stops along the Kancamagus Hwy (natural pools of water and waterfalls, gorges, the mountains themselves). If you don't go now, definitely put it on your list!!!

RI is beautiful!! It took me about 4ish hours to get there from Long Island. Poconos is great as well! My hubby and I are going to St. Michaels, MD it's the perfect small town relaxing place we want to be☺️
