Would you use this?

Would you use a Jenny Lind Crib from 26 years ago? I was an only child and my parents used this for me while I was just a newborn. Since, it has been in storage. I considered putting it back together, painting it, and using it for our little one. Why not? But then, I started thinking - maybe I shouldn't and we should just buy a new crib. Thoughts?

Is it a drop side crib? I wouldn't use it if it is. Although I think you can maybe get some kind of conversion kit for it?

But for what it's worth I think a Jenny Lind crib painted in a fun color would be really cute 🙂

I wouldn't. If it's a drop side crib it can be incredibly dangerous. I'd definitely check and see if it's got any recalls on it. You could always refurbish it into a cute bench or day bed for the nursery to be able to still use it and just get a newer crib.
