Baby monitor?!

Not even sure if one is completely necessary, being that she's going to sleep in a bassinet by our bed( she has crib in the nursery upstairs & we have a bed room up there as well but i just think we're gonna sleep downstairs bc the bathroom & kitchens down here and thats where we sleep now) but itd nice to have when we want time to ourselves after putting her to sleep & stuff. Anyone suggest a decent yet cheap monitor with picture??

We just for a sound monitor for when baby naps during the day while I'm doing stuff around the house. We have no use for a video monitor as baby will never be very far away from us.

We got one as a shower gift with our first he's 2 and I think I've used it once. He sleeps in our room still as of now, transitioning him to his own across the hall though.

No picture on monitor (and this was 2 yrs ago) but you know those newborn safety 1st kits they make with the comb, tooth brush, nail clippers, etc... I found one of those WITH a monitor for $14 at Walmart. It still works and I've never had any problems with it. Def worth looking into if you don't absolutely have to have the screen with it.
