With many places in the United States having to teach children to pass state tests?

I live in Oklahoma and if you don't pass the state testing, you won't pass to the next grade. Even if you made an A+ in all your classes.

They also use the tests to determine if they think the teacher is doing his or her job, failing to realize that many children are just generally terrible at testing.

From 3rd grade through 12th grade, we are taught that if we fail, our teachers could possibly lose their jobs. I believe that's wrong.

And this year, they even raised the cut off score for the first time in years, from what I heard from many of my previous teachers who I have on Facebook.
