Careless smokers around prego

Is anyone else having problems with people (mainly family members) thinking it's perfectly fine to light a cigarette right in your face or blowing smoke in your eyes and expecting you to be okay with that? I've delt with this a lot throughout my pregnancy and I have tried to avoid them at all cause! I keep getting told "well this person smoked all throughout her pregnancy and her kid was fine". They act like I honestly care, but this is my baby & I tell them they are inconsiderate of me and my baby. I have asthma and I don't want my baby to have any issues due to second hand smoke! Any ideas of how to handle this? Or has anyone found where doctors say the risks it causes.
