---Rant---
Has anyone else noticed that EVERYONE tries to put their two cents in on your pregnancy? If I ask, fine, but if not...I really don't want your opinion.
Yesterday I get a phone call saying one of the supervisors on ANOTHER SHIFT has been talking smack about me. My OB/gyn wrote a note stating that I should remain on day shift for the duration of my pregnancy, instead of rotating days and nights every two months. Why? It can increase the risk of miscarriage. Not that it's any of THEIR concern. Apparently this supervisor went to Captains office and said "So, if I get pregnant, do I get to stay on days, too?" With a real snarky attitude. Everyone has been telling me I would have been fine on night shift. Because they have MDs behind their name and went to medical school, right? 🙄😡
I wanted so badly to call this supervisor and give her a piece of my mind. How is what's best for MY baby's health any concern of HERS?? What really ticked me off is that I worked overtime for this woman a lot in the past because the shift was short and she begged me. Some thanks, huh?
