Birthmarks
My son was born 4/29/16 full term. He is my second. My first is 16 months old and is fair skinned. He has no birthmarks. His little brother however was born with 1 little light red mark on the back of his upper left thigh. At 3 weeks old I noticed a dark red blood bruise looking mark in the underside of his scrotum and a redness on the base of his skull at the hairline.
I had his doctors office check them and the nurse practitioner said that they are birthmarks. The one on his hairline will fade over time and go away. The one on his scrotum is called a hemangioma. It can grow until he's 2 then shrink back down.
Does anyone have kids who have had a hemangioma? Do they go away?
