Should I report?

My therapist tried to pull me onto his lap. When I was upset about it he bought me flowers to apologize. A little background though, one of the reasons I go to therapy is because I was raped, so I might be paranoid. Also he has held my hand and put his arm around me in the past. He is an elderly man and works for the university I attend.

I've been in therapy many times and they NEVER touched me outside of a handshake without asking first. Seems very inappropriate, but sometimes old men don't seem to get the memo because they use the excuse that they're "from a different time."

As a counselor in training I can tell you that is unethical. He is crossing the lines and should be reported to the ethics board. That is inappropriate and no counselor should be touching you or giving you flowers or holding your hand. Please report him, who knows how many other clients he is exploiting!
