FTM 30 Weeks - Is this normal?

I'm 30w4d today. When I push on my left side slightly, it feels kind of tender to the touch. Because I'm worried about preterm labor and losing baby, I am just curious if this is normal. I don't have Braxton Hicks or any cramping or anything. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Things are still stretching in there and baby is only getting bigger, so im sure thats normal! As for preterm labor and losing baby...i clean for the nicu and every single 30 weeker that has come into the nicu has gone home after a month or so! So even if baby was born early (although i dont think you have to worry about that unless you were getting a lot of contractions close together and they are getting stronger over time) he/she would very likely eventually get to go home! Ive also had braxton hicks contractions 10 times or more every day starting at 18 weeks and my little girl is no closer to coming into this world than before!

I think it's normal for your belly to be a little tender (FTM mom here, too). Since you don't have any other weird symptoms, it doesn't sound like an issue, but ask your doc if you're really worried or if it changes for the worse. ☺️
